As a non-Muslim, I read your words, and feel comforted that there are Muslims who possess what I had already assumed they did: a desire and ability to rationally look at their religion, and adopt it in the most humane way. I wish that many on the Christian side of the equation took as equitable a stance as you do. When I read your definition of ‘Jahalat’, I could only think of our current President, and his discordant stances on religion, culture, and those who believe differently from him.
